Cookies and Cream Cookies

These cookies are delightful. If you like cookies and cream, I would definitely recommend that you make these cookies. Bites of Oreo's. Bits of white chocolate. Little pockets of milk or semi-sweet chocolate. I know it seems like a lot of things to buy and add to your cookies. But it's worth it. So much flavor in just one bite. They are soft and gooey in the middle, and just crisp enough on the edges. So, yummy!
Cookies and Cream Cookies

So I have been meaning to post this recipe for a long time. Really, I have been meaning to post any recipe for a long time. But these cookies are pretty yummy, They are so soft and gooey. Seriously. If you have time to make cookies in all the crazy things that are going on right now, these are should be at the top of your list.

I've been pretty busy lately. I had another oral surgery. Work has been crazy. I had family in town. There also the normal holiday craziness. Oh, and I got sick for like 3 weeks. And now I'm at my parents for the next week or two. Life has felt overly crazy lately.

Fortunately, I think the return home should bring a little more calm. Hopefully.

Anyway. These cookies are delightful. If you like cookies and cream, I would definitely recommend that you make these cookies. Bites of Oreo's. Bits of white chocolate. Little pockets of milk or semi-sweet chocolate. I know it seems like a lot of things to buy and add to your cookies. It's worth it. So much flavor in just one bite. They are soft and gooey in the middle, and just crisp enough on the edges. Definitely worth your time to make!

2 eggs, cold

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup broken up Oreos

1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

2-3 Hershey's cookies & cream bars, chopped

Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment. Set aside. Preheat oven to 400.

Cut up butter into pieces and add to the bowl of your stand mixer. Beat 1-2 minute until fluffy. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar. Cream another 3-4 minutes or until light and fluffy, scraping down the sides occasionally. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each egg until fully incorporated. Beat in vanilla.

Add flour, cornstarch, salt, and soda. Mix until just barely combined Scrape down sides of the bowl. Add remaining ingredients, saving a couple of tablespoons worth and pulse to incorporate.

Divide the dough into 16 cookies and form them into balls. Place 8 on each cookie sheet. Press the remaining tablespoons of mix-ins into the tops of the cookies. Bake for 9-11 minutes. They should be still rounded in the middle, and slightly undone in the center. They will continue to cook once out of the oven. Let cool on pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to cooling rack and let cool the rest of the way. Enjoy!

Bake for 9-10 minutes. They should be slightly golden, slightly mounded in the middle, thick/tall, and gooey in the center. Let them cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then carefully transfer the cookies to a cooling rack to finish cooling. Enjoy!
