Easy Sweet and Sour Slow Cooker Meatballs

I'm sitting in the repair shop waiting for the alignment to get done on my car. Exciting times around here.

But while I'm sitting here, I thought I would post this super simple recipe. I am still on soft foods for at least 1 or 2 more weeks, and because I've been on soft foods for 3 weeks already, and have been a few other times this past year, I'm getting pretty tired of a lot of the same old foods.

One thing I have discovered is that I can eat store bought meatballs okay if I cut them up. They are a pretty soft texture, and it's a good way for me to eat some protein.

I've made these meatballs as an appetizer for a party before and they disappeared quick! With only three ingredients and minimal hands on work, this recipe makes and easy appetizer or dinner.

32 ounce bag of frozen meatballs

18 ounce jar grape jelly

18 ounces BBQ sauce (I used Sweet Baby Rays)

Combine the jelly and BBQ sauce in the base of your slow cooker. Stir together. Add the meatballs, and stir to coat the meatballs with the sauce.

Turn slow cooker to high and cook for 2-3 hours, or until warmed through. Serve and enjoy!
